Hello and Software Question!
I teach one week of very simple video editing using Microsoft Windows Movie Maker. Super simple. However! Windows Movie Maker is going away and will no longer be supported. So. What very simple, and preferably free, video editing software do you suggest? (No, Adobe PremierePro is not going to work.) Thanks! -Margaret

I am very fortunate to be representing the School of Public Health-Bloomington at the IU Bloomington Commencement ceremony this year! Thank goodness there are instructional videos on how to put on a wear one's regalia!
Hello All! I am creating instructional videos for my class K200 Microcomputer Applications in Kinesiology. I have heard that viewers like seeing the instructor's face in a smaller window on the screen when doing screen capture. In short, I am working on a computer issue, software is recording what I am doing on the computer screen, and a camera is recording my face as I do the work in a smaller window. So the students can see my face as well as hear my voice and see what I am doing on the computer.
However. Is this truly the best? Would a video that just shows the work on the screen be better than one showing my face? I did a Google Search and found some interesting links that I will study later.
If you have knowledge to share, please share it! If you have ever taken an education class you have heard of Bloom and his taxonomy. Even has a Website. Today I was given a new picture. Below is the "verb wheel" and it makes me happy.
Hubby and I went to the Hoosier Classic volleyball tournament this weekend to cheer on our wonderful IU team. I saw that Florida Gulf Coast was in the tournament. I of course became worried about them due to the damage caused by the hurricane. I was pleased to hear that our wonderful head coach, Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan invited the team to come to IU early. You can read about it here.
Thank you Coach Dunbar-Kruzan, thank you IU Volleyball, and thank you IU for taking care of another team. You show the spirit of IU! |
